Using Japanese techniques and charcoal, the Cole & Son artists created croquis for the Japanese Woods design. It is a modern interpretation of a traditional craft, known as Daisugi, a Japanese sustainable mission to preserve a whole forest in one tree. Within each pruned tree, you have a whole forest. The striking Japanese Woods gives a contemporary feel to any room, providing the illusion of an eternal forest. This graphic and monochromatic repeat provides depth and perspective to the interior space.
